Any decent management team agrees the chain of command and matchday setup beforehand obviously.

It doesn't take 5 lads input to make a sub. In fact two is the most that's needed really considering how much prep will have been done beforehand..

They'll all know each others opinions on player X or situation Y well in advance. 5 lads gathered around having a meeting isn't great for optics or efficiency as we saw in 2025.

I'm sure there was plenty of communication during the Galway and Limerick games. Unless we have bench cam nobody can speak definitively on how the management operated for 70 plus mins unless they have inside information.

If some fellas have a grudge or want to have a cut off management they can find plenty of ways to do so. You can't win with these lads. Ultimately the only way to silence these elements is to be successful.

If I remember correctly in the 2025 final it was the exact opposite and people were complaining that PR wasn't being the main man on the line and there was too much group huddles etc. with selectors.

Lads, does anyone know if there’s any chance of Cork season tickets going on general sale this year?


I’ve been trying to get one for the last few years but haven’t seen any come up for public sale. I’ve managed to get tickets for all the games through pulling favours here and there, but it’d be great to have the season ticket and not be worrying about tickets every round.


I’m fully on the hype train already, train ticket booked for the All-Ireland next year.


I still think we have the best team there if we can get the team selection and tactics right. Plenty to be optimistic about.


I know season tickets sometimes get transferred if someone isn’t renewing, so if anyone has one they’re not planning to renew, I’d absolutely love to take it off your hands. Happy to throw a few quid your way for the trouble as well.
