Fire Safety In Cork Pubs.

Isn't it a wonder that you're allowed smoke in some pubs despite the risk of fire.

I was at a lock in last week and the ashtrays came out the minute the doors were closed.

Does anyone know of pubs in Cork that have lock ins, and let you smoke?

Ashtrays always out for lock ins - you might as well be hung for a sheep as hung for a lamb and anyone going out for a smoke is only going to draw attention to the fact that there's illicit drinking going on. Plus, it's not much of a lock in, if the doors aren't locked

How do you get to the second door in The Mutton though Yer? I didn't see it the last time I was there in 2024.

Lee the first door takes you directly to the bar.

If you need to go to the bathroom upstairs, walk 10 metres or so down the length of the bar, if you look to your right at the bottom of the stairs, you will see another door that takes you out into the alley.

Listen dipshit I haven't accused any pubs. I've just asked about the law in Ireland I've mentioned some pubs in Cork that I know and love.
