Hibernian Line ferry from Cork to Boulogne-sur-mer

Ya see the cabin they gave him 🤣

Not a bad video though, embarrassing that there isn’t a rail link. Is there a direct bus or did he get on the wrong one.

There are 2 routes to Ringaskiddy there is the more direct 223 or the scenic 225.
223 goes out via Douglas, Passage etc, a much more direct route to Ringaskiddy
The 225 goes to the Airport, Ballygarvan, Carrigaline, aka the scenic route.

Unfortunately as yet, none of those routes actually go into the passenger terminal, hopefully that will change

Hibernia Line are now exploring the operating of a route from a port in Norway " to the continent ".

This is a good sign that the existing route is beginning to perform.
O Tooles International ( Galway ) have announced shipping 150 artics per week into Boulogne-sur-Mer, they have a new base set up there.
Between that announcement and that weekly Sunday night arrival of those massive trucks carrying parts for wind generators, it appears they have turned a corner.

Great news Meridian 👍

These fuckers will go on the same holidays 20 summers in a row so if they're breaking to Ireland that could be huge

Aidan Coffey and the lads in Hibernia thought they would make it with trucks, but like you i think the campers from continental Europe will make Hibernia a huge success
