Is there some point you're trying to make in your "straw pole"(sic) figures? How many people were involved in your poll by the way, where did you carry it out, and what were the questions you asked in your poll? From your Lab 1% even given rounding, you appear to be telling us that you actually went out and asked at least 100 people who class themselves as Irish speakers. Unless you were undertaking some project then interviewing such a large number of people shows an unhealthy interest by you in the voting habits of other people and/or their ability to speak Irish. If it was a project you'd need to tell us what the project was in which your framed such a straw poll for it to have any credibility imho.

I stopped people going into Douglas shopping centre about 70 in early Feb and about 70 in late February.
In the 5 % bracket a few people said they would not give answers.
I am not at all familiar with the margin of error so I cant comment on this.

Can you tell us what was the reason for your survey, what was it that you told the people you spoke to was the reason for your survey, what was your overall demeanour, and what was the actual question(s) you asked? These, whether you know it or not, can sway answers.

I never claimed to be an expert in surveys. No one in thr poll mentioned to me that they had previously been poled.
Your are being very negative to me for some reason.
Whether the new ireland is to be a united irelad a federal one or an english scotish welsh or some other union we need to live together in harmony.
