Luke Merrigan just missed qualification for the 1500 final. Came 7th with 6 going through. There's no "fastest losers" slots in the final, so it means all the races are for postion - i.e., lads crawling and elbowing the shite out of each other for 1200m then a mad dustup for the line. He was too far back when the dustup came, got dropped and then spent the rest of the race getting back up to the business end. I'd say the elbowing was at a level he wasn't used to. Charlie O'Neill qualified handy enough from the other semi.

She won the U20 title last year at age 15.
Looks like there's a fair bit of gym-work going on too. Hope she can keep it all going

10.29 for the Brit Iheme to notch the boys 100 - fair clipping as he's also only 16 AFAIK.

She's slated for Brussels on Sat over 400m.

She either races that and makes herself available for the relay pool or she doesn't and shuts it down for 2026.

She’s pulled out of tonight’s race in Brussels. That’s surely the end of the Euros and the end of another season

She’s right there with 600 to go

EDIT - 8:25 a PB, 3rd behind the two Aussies. Very strong run, always near the front of the race, she had loads in the tank at the end and maybe could have backed herself a bit earlier. Hull blew the thing away with 300 to go, nobody could catch her.

Great running from English, PB for Healy is a great sign after a turbulent few months with injury. Mc Phillips will hopefully kick on from here.

Not a big Josh Kerr fan but I think he will break the record later. Based on the clips he has been putting up he hasn’t missed a beat in the build up.
