He was fantastic last season and I would say he’s definitely more value than Anderson for example because he scores and assists goals but also is versatile in an attacking sense.

But over £100m? Not for me. I think he’s a good player but that’s a great deal for Villa.
Very good player based on last season but not worth more than 60 million…Crazy Prices

If you offered a choice of Tielemans or Anderson to every PL manager I'd be surprised if any would choose the Belgian.
What!?? He's the captain of his country, just had a superb world cup, a proven PL performer across 7 plus seasons and just off the back of probably his best 2 seasons back to back, scores big goals in finals, non of which Anderson has done. A truly bizarre take Philby imho.

I think even based on the eye test alone there's only one winner here.

It's fashionable to talk down Anderson because of the inflated fee and his nationality, but there's a reason lots of big teams were in for him this summer and one paid monster dough for him.

Goals aren't even a big part of Anderson's game, but he's scored more in 2 PL seasons at a relegation-threatened side than Tielemans has in 3 seasons at Villa.

Btw I think Tielemans has been an excellent PL player for a fair few seasons now, but at this point in time I'd much rather have Anderson's future output for the next 4 season's than Tielemans'.
