Not surprising really considering NI is a gateway here for illegals and fake asylum seekers.

Looking at the various 12th July bonfires, Id say a United Ireland is not going to happen in our lifetime.
Effigies representing Kneecap, the Irish tricolour and Palestinian flags on them being burnt.

Remember, any referendum on unity is nailed in the Good Friday Agreement, and it for the people of the 6 counties to decide, not us too.

Its from IreThinks, I get a couple of pools from them a month, results go into the Sunday Independent.

Ireland Thinks does not just poll anyone who responds. Their methodology is designed to produce a sample that mirrors the Irish population. According to Ireland Thinks, participants are selected from a panel of roughly 25,000–35,000 people and are chosen to match Ireland's demographics and voting profile.

The key demographics they typically use include:

• Age
• Gender
• Region/location
• Educational attainment
• Religious adherence
• Past voting behaviour
• Political interest (for panel selection)

Sometimes social class and urban/rural location are also analysed.

Beware though that if SFROI get into government here, they've already floated the idea that we in the Republic of Ireland wouldn't get to have a Border Poll (it would just be a Dail vote to confirm). It took MLMD to say no,no that wouldn't be the case, but it's an indication of where the republican mindset is, and what they'd be aiming for if they got into power here. They're only waiting to sell us out.

Beware though that if SFROI get into government here, they've already floated the idea that we in the Republic of Ireland wouldn't get to have a Border Poll (it would just be a Dail vote to confirm). There are large elements of SF who are totally detached from every day life in the Republic and I think to be fair to her MLMD knows this and is trying to play a balancing act in keeping both sides happy. It’s not an easy job but they’ve paid too much attention to a border poll and not enough to fixing the very real problems people in the Republic face.

They’ve had the same Finance Spokesperson for 16 years and the same Housing Spokesperson for 10 years. Yet I don’t know what their solution to the housing crisis is apart from get FF and FG out.

What utter fairytale bollox from the 3 of them. Cooper starts off with some decent questions but doesn't follow up.

At 39th minute Cooper asks Varadkar what if loyalists turn to violence at the threat of a UI, and Varadkar isn't able to answer except state the explicit threat that if we vote against a UI in the Republic, that Republicans could turn violent against us. So then the obvious answer is not to keep the separate. The second answer is for Republicans to build trust with PUL. which they have run away from for the last 3 decades. Murphy's answer was talking through his hole, but that's par for the course.

I completely agree. I like Path to Power and Leo is usually good on it but this is just so obvious. FG are trying to outflank FF.

That's what this is, and as with the declaration of the Republic of Ireland Act, this is a dangerous road to go down by FG.

p.s. Leo (ironically) is lying at the 49 minute mark, saying that a solemn promise was given by the people of the Republic, when the Good Friday Agreement was made, that if there was a majority for unification in Northern Ireland, that that would then happen. Whereas the GFA explicitly says that both state must agree to it, not just the nordies.
