PeoplesRepublicOfCork.com (PROC) has been providing showcase webspace for Cork artists since October 2000 and the recent surge in the number of bands, producers and singer songwriters has kept us busy playing keep-up!

Many music websites rely on hits from those who search for music on the internet but PROCs audience is many times bigger because thousands of people visit us everyday for different reasons and they all have one thing in common: Cork!

While some online music resources force artists into competitive charts and playlists we believe this doesnt encourage new artists to submit their music and also promotes senseless competition - often resulting in bands downloading their own music repetitively to get to the top of a meaningless chart.

PROC Music is here to allow artists to connect with a very large and highly localised Cork audience as well as the majority of the city and countys promoters and venue managers.
