"Band Stand 1"††

† What better place to go looking for art than around UCC campus and it's surrounding fallout areas. A collection of thoughful pieces on the bandstand across from the college gates was drawn to our attention. This one was our favourite, mainly because it so much thought was put into it yet it remains completely meaningless like some of the degree courses on offer nearby. We might offer the suggestion that a quick dart in front of a fast moving train would get you out of that box quite quickly.

†The first art to be featured here using different paint types. It obviously represents the way life rolls out different lives to different people. James ia fla, Emmet a fatty and Jeff a muppet. Just as artists strive to paint the perfect painting the curse of BugerKing and Mandys will forever haunt those who strive to achieve the perfect figure to lure the finest old dolls on offer back to their gaff. Deep.

††† "Door of Club FX"†

††† The door of Club FX exposes the lives of students of a younger type: da junior cert! Out in celebration at the end of a traumatic period in their lives they have been prevented from making the final step in the junior cert cycle by getting to the results night disco. Of course knowing under-age celebrations in this country if we could see them and their general physical condition on the night we might well understand why this door was shut in their faces. We will never know but that's art for ye....
