Barracka and Blarney St.

Tight Streets and SUVs
Cork is well known for its narrow streets especially on the hilly parts of the inner city. The cosy communities that set up here "millions" of years ago still live on in harmony and many of the tight arteries of Cork remain residential despite their proximity to the commercial hub of the south of Ireland.

Mounting the path to make way for the posh langer in his big merc on Barracka. |
Just above the North Channel is the universe's longest street (albeit according to locals) - Blarney St. Leading directly down towards the South Channel is the famous Barrack Street another part of Cork steeped in history housing one of the world's oldest pubs - The Gateway - believed to be open the day St. Finbarr arrived in Cork so nothing is known of the time of its exact conception.
Books of material on these fabled streets lie in the City Library for you to be lampin' so we'll spare you all the fad'
