With Cork City crashing out of the cup, rumours of Ollie going to Shels and not a goal in 300 minutes of football Gareth Williams is starting to get frustrated.....
Well, well, well it has certainly been a very interesting few weeks when it comes to talking about Cork City FC. What the hell is going on? Results on the pitch are bad and happenings off the pitch are terrible. It has been over 300 minutes since City last scored a goal in Turners Cross, while shipping 7. We have now lost 5 times at home, and there doesn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel, as no-one seems to be able to get a shot on target, let alone score. Our last home goal was from a set piece, when Derek Coughlan powered a header home from 2 yards. We have lost 0-3 to Bohs, drew 0-0 with relegation strugglers Dundalk (who can feel themselves unlucky not to have won), and lost to a team who are second bottom of Div 1, Limerick FC, 0-1. City have gone from bad to worse, to downright atrocious.
