With the red and whites of Poland qualifying for the World Cup in Germany next year they might well be the team Corkonians choose to support, now that Brian Kerr who refused to give Roy the captains armband when he returned to the squad in 2004, made suck a cock up at Landsdowne Road against the Swiss.
Unless you've been living under a rock in Cloyne for the last four years you'll have noticed that Polish people are coming here by the lada load to make a bit of grade. Apparently one can buy daycint gafs in Poland for something like 250 euro and cars for the price of a pint so maybe we should all head over and start buying summer houses and set up a Cork enclave in Warsaw...

Polish the language is comically difficult - almost as hard as our beloved gaelige. The start of words change as well as the end under different circumstances and if you're looking for the plural of langer in Polish you're looking at something about 125 letters long so don't even bother asking.
To top it off they have that male/female thing like German and French when you have to remember if a car, hairdryer or a spanner is male or female before you say it. Quare out.
