De Homecoming Up to 30 million Corkonians thronged the streets of the Beautiful City to welcome home the victorious and notorious Cork hurlers after trouncing Galway by five points at Croke Park. |
After a few token speeches from the Lord Mayors of city and county respectively and of course Bishop John Buckley (no event in Cork takes place without him) Cork Bainisteoir John Allen grabbed the mic. Allen busted some phat lyrics for about 3 minutes naming scores of background boys including team masseurs (who he mentioned get to rub Se·n âg's legs sending teenage wandas over the edge with excitement).
