Don't Let a Guitar Wreck Your Party
Danny Elbow
With Christmas just around the corner its time to start thinking about all those parties you're going to be attending both before and after the 'big day'. Office parties, Stephen's Night whooleys, New Years Eve bashes and its always the best time to get a good turn out for class reunions with so many exiles back from abroad.
Sure don't be encourgaing him like! The host (left) moves in to discourage guitar playing too early in the night. |
More so this year than any other year, parties in people's gafs rather than in a pub or restaurant will be at their most popular - the smoking ban and rip-off gat prices keeping people at home.
Music is of course a very important consideration when you're having a knees up at your gaf. If you get the selection right you'll find your guests complimenting your choice and inquiring to where you found such "daycint choons". Hopefully with all the mistletoe hanging around a flahs you invite will get with the Christmas spirit and show some physical affection for your musical taste too'
