FORAS 6-Aside Tournament in Garryduff

FORAS (which stands for Friends of the Rebel Army Society) Trust is organising the second annual FORAS Cup to be held at Garryduff on 27th June. The competition was very successful in raising money for the Independent Supporters Trust last year and strong interest is expected again this year.

ISS Facility Services have kindly sponsored the event putting up €300 prize money for the winners in addition to the winner’s trophy and medals. There will also be awards for player of the tournament and a golden boot award for the top scorer.

The tournament is a 6-a-side astroturf tournament with rolling substitutions allowed.

Cost of entry is €100 per team with each team guaranteed at least 3 matches and possibly more if they advance beyond the group stage.

If you'd like to participate but don't have a team, or if you have a partial team but are a player or two short, get in contact with FORAS and we'll help put you in contact with others so that the day can be enjoyed by as many people as possible
