For the last two years, MURPHY's Little Big Nights Out have been bringing you, the MURPHY'S faithful, the ultimate free Cork nights out, celebrating the very best that our Cork culture has to offer.

MURPHY'S Little Big Nights Out have visited numerous locals across Cork, bringing you incredible live music shows, feasts of fresh Cork food, winning sporting gatherings and fantastic one off film screenings, all served up with a cool, creamy pint of MURPHY'S, the official pint of us! Supporting and celebrating local and Irish music, has always been top of the agenda for MURPHY'S and we wanted to do just that at this year's MURPHYS Big Night Out.

As the end of 2010 approaches, MURPHY'S are planning a celebration to close out the year on a high note and are very pleased to announce the second MURPHY'S Big Night Out. This year's unique one-day festival, will take place on Saturday December 4th at the iconic Cork Opera House. 2010 has been a great year for Irish music and in celebration of this, MURPHY'S are bringing some of the top names in Irish music to Cork!

MURPHY'S will set up stall in the Cork Opera House for a second year running, transforming it into a night-long music and film feast.

MURPHY'S Big Night Out will feature heaps of explosive live music. On the MURPHY'S Main Stage, an array of national talent will be on display, with Irish rock heroes Ash making a return visit to Cork, punk-rock legends The Undertones, Number One album artist Cathy Davey, feisty pop-monsters Fight Likes Apes, hypnotic singer songwriter James Vincent McMorrow, Cork's favourite popsters Fred, and Cork band on the rise, Slow Motion Heroes.


Best of all, MURPHY'S Big Night Out will be 100% free of charge to the MURPHY'S faithful, courtesy of the official pint of us! Fans of MURPHY'S should apply for tickets by logging on to www.littlebignightsout.com and registering their details. There is only room for so many Corkonians under the roof of the Opera House, so tickets are limited.
