Human League for Little Big Weekend

Based on the success of the last few years, Murphy's have announced THREE Little Big Weekends in 2012, the first of which takes place on the May Bank Holiday Weekend, with two more following in August and November.

For the first of the Little Big Weekends, they are holding FIVE free events over two days and three nights at the Beamish & Crawford site, which will be transformed into a Mardi Gras style festival of entertainment.

The Little Big Weekend line-up will feature The Human League, The Frank & Walters, The Walls and Fred; a Food Fair with the best in Cork cuisine and a trad fest with Gavin Moore, The Ceili-Nun and many, many more.

Kicking off on Friday night,  will be some of Ireland’s greatest acts, including some of Cork's very own musical sons - The Frank & Walters and Fred - joined by The Walls to rock the main stage, trading vocalists and tunes in a riotous mash-up for our very unique MURPHY’S Vox Swap.

On Saturday, we are proud to host MURPHY’S Food Fair, featuring a huge variety of specialist stalls serving some of OUR tastiest artisan foods.

The MURPHY’S Big Gig on Saturday night sees legendary, The Human League, perform. Expect the Little Big Weekend Marquee resound to the choruses of some of their amazing hits, including ‘Don’t You Want Me’ and ‘Human’.

Timeless: The Frank and Walters

The Official Sunday Session sees an afternoon of leading contemporary trad artists, curated by the renowned De Barra’s of Clonakilty, with everything wrapping up on Sunday evening with the MURPHY’S Big Thank You party, showcasing great comedy, music and food.
