Tá fás iontach faoin ócáid seo, agus do bhuailfeá ann le daoine ó gach aird, áiteanna comh fada ón a chéile le Bhaile an Chollaigh agus An Bhriotáin. Tá easpa mhór orainn i gCorcaigh gan ionad Gaeilge a bheith ann agus tá an deis sin anois ins an Roundy i Sráid a' Chaisleáin. Beidh fáilte mór romhat.

Club Daon-Phoblacht with The Trad Lads The Roundy, Castle St., Cork Thursday 30th July 2009 8.30pm, €5/3 with student ID before 10pm
The Trad Lads are a Carrigaline based group that play a mix of Irish ballads and lively traditional Irish tunes. Along with a host of foot stomping jigs and reels expect to hear plenty of old favourites like Cailín na Gailimhe, Oró sé do Bheath Abhaile, Erin Grá mo Chroí and Beidh Aonach Amárach.
Club Daon-Phoblacht (Club People's Republic) is a monthly Irish language social night for those interested in the Irish language, warmly welcoming anyone of any level of fluency…or anyone who is simply interested in listening to the language or trying out the cúpla focal.
Since its inception in February 2008 as a response to the lack of regular Irish language events in Cork city centre, Club DP has grown steadily attracting large diverse crowds where you're just as likely to bump into someone from Brittany as Ballincollig….
