O'Mahony Launches Hollywood Career

Kerry's Aidan O'Mahony is to play Colt Seevers in a remake of the eighties classic The Fall Guy.

While Kingdom fans might be scratching their empty heads following Cork's casual cancellation of their impeding victory in Croke Park on Sunday, film buffs in the county will be delighted to hear wing back Aidan O'Mahony is about to hit the big screen where he can compete with Cork megastars Cillian Murphy and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

The 26 year old Garda made such an impression in the semi-final clash against Cork that he has been contacted by the producers of the eighties classic The Fall Guy and offered the lead role in a mouth watering noughties remake.

Fox Pictures who are in a race against time to sign the Kerry actor/footballer will now send scouts to various Kerry club games to seek new acting talent.

Chief Executive of the multi-billion dollar company, Phil O'Chite said, "I rolled up to Hollywood over thirty years ago and I swear that I've never seen such great pussy-acting in all my life. This guy is the bomb.".

Despite Cork's dramatic comeback with two injury time goals the talking points were the Kerrymen involved in the two sending offs.

First to go was Kerry veteran, Dara Ó Sé. Already sent off in the Munster Final against Cork Ó Sé clearly punched Pearse O'Neill square in the face as the two jogged towards play - well out of the action.

Like Aidan, most actors are gorgeous

Ó Sé, passed a late fitness to line out for the Kingdom but PROC can reveal that he failed a late IQ test - although this is obviously not a requirement for a Kerry footballer.

Bizarrely, the Kerry midfielder seemed to wait until the referee was looking straight at him before dawking Cork star Pearse O'Neill in the face. The rivalry between the two climaxed in the Munster final when the Kerryman was skinned by the Corkman and this was clearly Ó Sé's neanderthal method for retribution.

A straight red card and a humiliating walk to the Hogan stand ensued for Ó Sé who will now consider a street fighting career although competition from most males in Tralee, one of Ireland's roughest towns, is rumoured to be fierce. During the Rose of Tralee festival local males are not permitted to leave their huts and caves.

Later in the match after a sarcastic tap-in-the-face from Cork forward Donnacha O'Connor, actor and wing back Aidan O'Mahony collapsed to the floor allegedly reeling in pain despite pausing for several seconds between contact and dive. The Corkman was sent packing after the referee witnessed the Kerryman's dramatic collapse.

As well as various Hollywood agents, Manchester United scouts are reported to be interested in bringing O'Mahony to Old Traford. Obviously the Kerryman is not required for his mediocre football skills but is now in serious demand for his acting ability.

Even Cristiano Ronaldo picks up the odd yellow card for his antics unlike cute hoor O'Mahony who makes referees buy his fake dives hook, line and sinker. The Rathmore man's collapse was captured on TV and beamed around the world along with the rest of his team who waited until the 69th minute to collapse.
