Norries Earn Bragging Rights as Photo of Northside Appears on National Geographic

Northsiders all over the world have rejoiced as a photo of their side of the city was used by National Geographic when including Cork in it's "Best of the World" destination. The image of Bell's Field at the top of St. Patrick's Hill, by Irish travel photographer Cian Wong, shows the sun setting to the north west of the city while residents and tourists watch on.

"I can't believe it, this is one of the happiest days of my life, boy!", said John Paul Micky Crinnion-Keane-O'Connell, from Churchfield Avenue who has been spamming all his Whatsapp groups since the news was released.

"If this was in Dublin, there'd be a burned out Mr. Whippy Ice Cream van in the middle of that field with young fellas in hoodies armed with syringes fighting stags over from Birmingham armed with broken pint glasses and a misguided sense of colonial history while Gardaí in riot gear blast crowds with water cannon and pepper spray", he continued, "and don't get me started on Limerick..."
