Even though it is over one year since the Cork County Board knew main sponsors O2 were not going to continue their jersey sponsorship into 2013 a new sponsor has yet to be secured even though the Waterford Crystal Cup is already, embarrassingly, underway.

At the moment teams have been directed to don the o2 branded jerseys while a sponsor is sought.

We can reveal that PROC is currently locked in negotiations with the Cork County Board. We’ve had a rake of Beamish and at the moment we are exclusively able to reveal the lucrative offer we have placed on the table next to the taytos written in four-coloured-pen on the back of a lotto ticket:
