Red Rooster Charity CD
The Red Rooster breakfast show on Corks Red FM is releasing a comedy and music
cd available in major outlets from Friday 8TH Dec, but unlike the sales of Gift
Grub and Nob Nation albums
..EVERY SINGLE CENT RAISED IS GOING TO BARNARDOS
CHILDRENS CHARITY PROJECTS IN CORK.
It features funny bits from the Red Rooster Breakfast Show and Green on Red in studio sessions with Cork acts such as Simple Kid, Fred, Frank & Walters, Fish go Deep, & Jodaivino.
RedFM Corks favourite radio station is donating the proceeds from the sales of its Christmas CD etc to Barnardos, Irelands leading childrens charity. So you can get a perfect stocking filler for Christmas, all while helping out children and families across Ireland.
Commenting on the donation, Ms Orla Tighe, Barnardos Fundraising Manager said when you buy the CD from RedFM you dont only get hours of enjoyment out of listening to it youll also be supporting Barnardos Irelands leading childrens charity and out work with around 5,000 children and families throughout Ireland each year.
Barnardos has been
working in the Cork region for many years, providing family support through
its centre in Mahon This service is about helping children make the most
of their lives, regardless of what theyre up against. Our work is about
supporting the healthy development of a child and helping parents to create
a nurturing environment for their family.
In addition to the service in Mahon, Barnardos in Cork provides a bereavement
counselling service from its regional centre in White Street, as well as providing
a Guardian ad Litem service aimed at helping children who are involved
in court proceedings. To help raise funds for these services Barnardos shop
in North Main Street is the perfect place to bag a bargain and help children
and families. Barnardos could not do the work we do in responding to the
real difficulties of families without the help of our many supporters.
We meet children's needs, providing services that challenge disadvantage, and
offer new hope for children's futures. We cant do it without you so please
put a Rooster CD on your Christmas list and make a difference today, Ms
Tighe concluded. Barnardos supports children whose well-being is under
threat, by working with them, their families and communities and by campaigning
for the rights of children. Barnardos was established in 1962, and is Irelands
leading independent childrens charity.
