RTE Claim Cats Won 2005 All Ireland

Thanks to the diligence of one Cork hurling fan, Comrade Joe O'Connor who was browsing RTE website this morning we have uncovered a conspiracy involving Kilkenny hurlers and the Dublin station.

Long portrayed as being Dublin-centered the TV and radio broadcaster has reverted to its old ways attributing last year's All Ireland hurling final win to Kilkenny.

Devastated after weak performances all through last season's championship the Cats were booted out by a younger more energetic side, Galway the eventual runners-up.

Cork lead the way with 30 All Ireland titles but what's this about 2005 in Kilkenny? We need a tribunal, an independent enquiry and the DPP's mobile number..

Despite this catastrophic loss, following on from the drubbing in the 2004 final at hands of Brian Corcoran and his men, Kilkenny have teamed up with fellow Leinster anti-Cork brigade RTE to attempt to reverse history and attribute the 2005 All Ireland hurling final to the black and amber semi-finalists.

FOX News in the U.S. - well known for their nonchalant reversal of historical facts - are said to be head hunting RTE executives in a desperate bid to convince the U.S. public that George Bush's army are not losing the three year old war in Iraq.

PURE last year like

"We believe, with the help of RTE's sports department", said John Ellis of Fox News, "that we can convince the American public that the War in Iraq started last summer and not in 2003. It'll give us more time and a bigger budget."

RTE has allegedly improved since the days Cork viewers only had this programme to watch.

Ellis, George W. Bush's cousin is famous for his decision to announce Bush's victory against Al Gore in the famous 2000 U.S. presidential election before the result had been officially decided. It seems Kilkenny's extra All Ireland is in some very complex way an esstial tool for the so called War on Terror.
