6 Places Causing Cork City's Slide In Litter Rankings

The IBAL (Irish Businesses Against Litter) survey results came out this week and Cork City has slipped in the rankings for the fifth survey in a row. We are now 38th out of 40th cities and towns surveyed.

Lots of areas surveyed are in good nick – street cleaners are keeping the main streets tidy but in survey after survey a small number of places in the city are repeatedly getting GRADE D in the national litter survey pulling the city’s score overall down.

1. Kennedy Quay
2. Carmelite Place, Western Road (derelict site for 12+ years)
3. Mick Barry Road (by the Park & Ride entrance opposite Tramore Valley Park)
4. Thomas Davis Street, Blackpool
5. North Ring Road
6. Commons Road
