Following a hugely successful run last March, Frank Twomey and Pakie OCallaghan
make a welcome return to the Everyman Palace Theatre with Surviving Santa Ponsa.
From September 24th audiences will have a second chance to catch the uproariously
funny sequel to last years smash hit, Santa Ponsa or Bust.
Not wanting to gild the lily, Frank and Pakie nevertheless couldnt resist rewriting the ending of the sequel to reflect the good fortune of a certain Cork North side family, neighbours of the plays main protagonists
Santa Ponsa or
Bust began life as a radio soap immediately grabbed the attention of Cork audiences.
The stage version became one of the most successful home grown comedies in the
Everyman Palace Theatres history.
