The Nightmare Realm & Noelie's Soul
9th Sep 2011
Cork footballer Noel O’Leary has already begun training for championship 2012 in an undisclosed location in the county believed to be near to the Cork/Kerry border.
The Cill na Martra man-marker has been seen regularly by hill walkers emerging from dense and dangerous unexplored forests around the county in a state of shock. Many eye witnesses have claimed to see O’Leary running from the misty wooded region in a feverish sweat at lightening pace.
While Noelie always successfully battles the most fiendish of opponents on the field as Cork’s glorious wing-back, missing out on retaining Sam Maguire has clearly inspired him to climb new heights in anticipation of next year’s championship.
Living a Nightmare: Noelie in training on the Cork/Kerry border recently |
A PROC investigation into the general area in which Noelie’s new training regime takes place has found the area to be acutely haunted with the ghosts of the past and after some terrifyingly tough negotiations the mysterious group in charge of this brutal regime called The Nightmare Realm have agreed to set up a horror camp for Corkonians to witness with their own eyeballs.
It is unclear whether the show will force Corkonians to watch disturbing images of Kerry or Dublin lifting the Sam Maguire but we have been assured something equally disgusting will be on display when doors open on Leeside.
The Nightmare Realm is a professional scare house that was developed using elaborate and high-tech production equipment with movie-quality props, prosthetics and effects. The "Realm Team" is made up of talented designers, scenic artists, craftsmen, sound & lighting crews, and make-up artists who work hard to create gruesome and terrifying experience.
This will prepare any Corkonian for the horrors of what may lie ahead in championship 2012: puke football, on-field dentistry, fake diving and unfathomable refereeing decisions.
The Nightmare Realm will be open for the month of October at Navigation House on Albert Quay.
Tickets will cost €12 for adults and €10 for students and are available to purchase from www.thenightmarerealm.ie for 13 year olds plus. The only question that remains is, is Cork afraid of the dark?
