Win NoHo and Posh Champagne

Every fella loves a bit of bushing. Sat-ur-daye night before you hit the tiles, let’s be honest. We all stop off in a damp field, crawl under a ditch out of sight of the Twin Bulb, pull a few freezing cans of manky cider out of a plastic bag and gat them like a camel at an oasis.

When you get off the bus, the key of course is making sure you wipe the mud off your brógs before you try to get past the bouncers so they know you didn’t have a six pack before you even reached town.

Now a fella can be in his element doing drunken impressions of wonder woman on the dancefloor but in the back of his mind there’s a gnawing feeling. What about tomorrow?

It’s not the junior B match up in Dillons that you might get called up for. That’s grand cos you’ll just foul your marker all day. It’s the gawks, the spins and the hot-and-colds we all fear.

The worst bit is the lack of sympathy from anyone around you. Sure, you did it to yourself feen.  

Bearing dilemmas like this mind, a couple of Corkonians have brought an American product to Ireland and the UK called NoHo. If you haven’t heard of it by now or seen the shop on Castle Street then there’s some good news for your Sunday morning sanity. And, of course, your oesophagus, if you’re a puker.

NoHo claims to annihilate your hangover by hyper hydrating your body in a way that countless pints of water can’t.
