To celebrate the 200th anniversary of one of the most popular and enduring love stories of classic fiction, we at the Everyman are delighted to have partnered with the Lyric Theatre, Belfast to bring you a sparkling new musical adaptation of the dearly loved novel Pride and Prejudice.

For those who haven’t read the Jane Austen novel, caught the TV series or seen the movies…the story centres on the Bennets who have been blessed with five daughters.  It is Mrs Bennet’s mission to see them all married to eminently suitable suitors.  As luck would have it a wealthy young gentleman has just taken up residence in the neighbourhood.

This adaptation by Richard Croxford and Mark Dougherty, stars Hazel Gardner as Lizzie, who recently played Liesl in a production of The Sound of Music in London and Neil McDermott as Mr Darcy, best known as Ryan Malloy from EastEnders.
