Have you always wanted to learn how to use the bigger woodwork machines but don't know where to start?
This course will provide you with valuable skills and knowledge needed to get you started in preparing wood for your own projects or pieces of furniture.
During this 10 week course, you will work with tutor Rod to complete a furniture project, and he will step you through safe working procedures on the machines below to enable you to develop your equipment experience and hone your finishing skills to make a Japanese Three Legged Stool.
Due to the nature of the machines being used, the course is limited to 6 places to allow each student enough time and attention with the machine and tutor.
Materials are included in the cost of the course.
We are fully inclusive and Adults 18+ are welcome, but please note it is necessary for you to have some knowledge and woodwork experience in order to enroll on this course.
