Benchspace Bites are our introductory sessions for beginners or novices where you will learn simple skills to build your experience, and make your very own piece in a single class.
This 2 hour class is an introduction to Wood Turning where tutor, Rita, will teach you foundation skills. During this guided session the project focus is a wooden tea light.
Rita will take you through the basics, explaining safe practice, before you move to the lathe and get turning. If you've ever wanted to try wood turning, this is the perfect entry level class to give it a try!
Materials are included in the cost of the class and all tools are provided.
We are fully inclusive and all skill levels (Adult 18+) are welcome, however, please note that this course requires hand-eye coordination and the ability to follow precise instructions with regards to safety.
