Brouhaha returns to the Quay Coop bookshop this October with two of Cork's best nature-loving folk artists. Get ready to be musically and lyrically transported to enchanting landscapes and inspired to seek adventure.
Wild Notions is the alt/indie folk project of multi-instrumentalist Luc O'Rourke. Whether performing solo or with others, he explores the wilderness of being through raw vocalizations and a mix of instruments like guitar, banjo, and bodhrán.
Samyel (Samuel Arnold Keane) is a forager, illustrator, and musician who combines various art forms to tell stories of the life, seaweeds and coasts he encounters. His creative practice reflects a passion for the natural world, expressed through music, performance, and visual art.
Samyel has performed in many diverse venues and recently collaborated in the Galway Theatre Festival.
Brouhaha is a not-for-profit Music Promoter focused on community spaces in Cork City, while Key Books is a volunteer-run community bookshop.
Join us for this early evening event; we hope to see you there!|
