Danny Groenland is a soul singer, songwriter & flutist, making music for the feet and for the mind. His songs blend a love of melody from The Beatles, social themes from Marvin Gaye & Curtis Mayfield and an obsession with all things D'Angelo. Playing with a team of top jazz and funk players, Groenland specialises in warm vocal harmonies, flute improvisation, conscious lyrics and positive grooves.
A father of two, Danny has remained completely independent, releasing 2 albums, 2 EPs and several collaborative singles. He and the crew are currently putting the finishing touches to album #3.
