Featuring over 3,000 traditional Irish musicians, Fleadh na Mumhan is the largest provincial Fleadh in Ireland run under the auspices of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann which is involved in the preservation and promotion of Irish traditional music, song and dance and all aspects of Irish culture, affording the language special status.
We’re a non-profit cultural movement with hundreds of local branches around the world, we’ve been promoting Irish music since 1951.
Comhaltas Comhairle na Mumhan are delighted to announce that Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2025 will take place in MTU Bishopstown Campus, Cork City where it will be hosted by Cork County Board CCÉ.
The MTU Bishopstown Campus has a wealth of wonderful facilities available for all our Munster Fleadh competitions along with excellent on-site catering and parking for Fleadh visitors. The superb MTU Arena which seats 1200 spectators will be the centrepiece of the Fleadh as it will host the Set dancing, Céilí dancing, Grúpaí Cheoil and Céilí Band competitions. The inaugural meeting to elect the Fleadh Executive Committee takes place in Macroom on next Thursday, September 19th.
