Tres Hombres are a three-piece blues band from Cork City. They are known for their powerful renditions of authentic blues tunes by Little Walter, Albert King, Junior Kimbrough, Buddy Guy among lots of others. At times spare and bare, rowdy and raucous, Tres Hombres are an individual take on the classic power blues trio. Formed in art college in the 90s by like-minded musicians, the current line-up features Mick, Ferg and Shane on guitar, bass and drums.
Tres Hombres recently headlined the Rory Gallagher fundraiser in Cork City Hall to great acclaim and are bringing their reenergised set to festivals and venues across Ireland in the coming months.
