Mary Greene
Originally from Waterford, Mary a member of the group Greenshine has long been an important element of the Cork folk scene. She loves the act of songwriting and likes to explore the magic in the everyday and the so-called 'ordinary'.
Alice Jago is a singer, songwriter and producer from Dublin. She released her critically acclaimed debut album ' Born Stubborn' with the lead single ' New St South' going straight onto the RTE radio 1 Playlist as well as becoming a firm favourite on nationwide stations. Described by Hot Press as: "a Beautifully produced.. exquisite debut .. a breezier Gillian Welch, a folkier Rickie Lee Jones ,a touch of Dusty on the vocal'. Alice Jago's voice is gentle, smoky goodness, and the perfect vehicle for her evocative, superbly melodic and thought provoking songs.
Christina Underwood
Chicago born funk/soul singer Christiana Underwood, is a graduate of both Colaiste
Stiofain Naofa and the Cork School of Music.Christiana is a much sought after vocal coach and she has collaborated extensively with DJ Stevie Grainger and with soul legend Karen Underwood.
Sara Corkery
Sara began her music journey aged eleven under the guitar tuition of Declan Sinnott. She graduated from MTU Cork School of Music with a master’s degree in performance, having previously graduated from the BMus degree with a First-Class honour in Classical Guitar, and was awarded the Barbara Harris Travel scholarship from MTU. She has been teaching both classical and acoustic guitar for over 25 years. Her guitar style reflects the music of Doc Watson, with her strengths in fingerstyle guitar work and flatpicking. Harmony vocals has always been part of her performances, having toured with Acapella vocal group ‘The Fallen Angels’ and with legendary Cork based band ‘The Joyful Mysteries’ with whom she released a critically acclaimed album.
Meadhbh Hayes
Originally from Clonakilty in West Cork, Meadhbh grew up immersed in Irish Folk Music. She has completed a masters at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, is due to release her first original single "How Do You Sleep With The Skies on Fire" in the Autumn.
