As the Festive Season approaches and the city is bedecked with lights and decorations, explore the city’s magnificent collection of public sculpture in a special Night-time Economy walking tour of Island City: Cork’s Urban Sculpture Trail led by Sample-Studios' Art Historian and sculpture specialist Dr Matthew Whyte. Learn about the innovative sculptural programme which represents the single largest investment in public art in state history and soak up some of Cork’s colourful local facts along the way. This tour is supported by Cork City Council Night-Time Economy initiative.
The tour is FREE but booking is essential.
The tour will commence at 6:15pm at Triskel Arts Centre and last for one hour.
