A wonderful evening of chamber music featuring the acclaimed Marmen Quartet who will be joined by Slovenian clarinettist Aljaz Begus and Ortús Festival Strings (featuring festival musicians and students of MTU CSM). Works will include the Irish premiere of 'Waiporoporo Moana' ('Purple Moon') by violist Bryony Gibson-Cornish together with Haydn's “Joke” Quartet, Op. 33 No. 2, Fuchs' Clarinet & Violin Duo Op. 14 No. 1, Bartok's Duos for 2 Violins (selection from 44 Duos, Sz. 98) and Brahms Clarinet Quintet in B minor, Op. 115.
