Skazz play the original ska from the 60’s, with skanking brass and tight rhythms, solid beats and delicious vocal harmonies, riffs and licks.
Formed in 2007, after making the crossover from a swing jazz outfit, Skazz embraced the music of the early Ska & Rocksteady greats, such as the Skatalites, Roy Ellis, Toots & the Maytals and have delighted audiences all over Ireland and Europe with their enthusiastic and happy music.
Regulars at Cork Jazz, Dublin Ska Festival, Booleigh Ska Festival, Cork Ska & Reggae Festival and Ska Rox, Skazz are delighted to be playing at the new Boss Reggae Train Festival this July.
Skazz are also in great demand for weddings, parties, corporate events, bar-b-ques and gigs and will guarantee to get the crowd up and dancing to the beat.
