After a successful run at Project Arts Centre as part of Dublin Fringe Festival last month, we are thrilled to bring Tearmann Aiteach / Queer Sanctuary by Fearghus Ó Conchúir & Isabella Oberländer to Dance Cork Firkin Crane on Friday 11 - Saturday 12th October, 7:30pm.
The multifaceted performance dances a welcoming space that supports flourishing, solidarity and spritely sparkle, and has received rave reviews from audiences so far 'Joy, joy' ...'It lit a sparkle in me' ...'The dancing itself was beautiful’ .
The work has grown out of Fearghus and Isabella’s separate practices as artists of different genders, generations and nationalities. Their dancing together celebrates what’s possible between their queer bodies and others.
Sweaty dancing, fabulous strangeness, abundance, transforming naked bodies, sparkling visual design and gorgeous garments. What’s not to love?
