Historian, Julianna Minihan will present a paper on the historical provision of water to the people of Cork City from 1760 to the end of the 1800s. She will discuss the extent of the water supply, the quality of water generally in Cork, the infrastructure and the huge inequalities between the water supplied to the rich and the treatment of the poorer people in the city.
