Lark on the Stand comprises musicians Charlie Piggott, Gerry Harrington, Peter Browne and Seosaimhín Ní Bheaglaoich. They are all recognised for their careers and reunited in an eclectic blend to form Lark on the Strand in 2000. Individually and as a band, they have been woven into the fabric of traditional Irish music since then. During a tour in 2020, when they got together, a recording of their concerts was made. They recently unearthed and revisited this long-forgotten piece, setting the basis for a new tour.
The concert at SIRIUS is part of this new tour, and the presentation consists of an evening of lively music mixing those early tunes and some firm favourites from over the years.
