Ar Scáth a Chéile A Mhaireann na nDaoine

Garreth Joyce & Gael Taca

Sullivans Quay, Cork City

This is an old Irish proverb which literally translates as 'People live in each other's shadows' meaning we all depend on each other (whether we like to admit it or not!). We are shielded from the sun by everyone else around us, so we rely on each other for shelter.

Created by Garreth Joyce in association with Gael Taca (whose premises is directly opposite this traffic box at 22 Sullivans Quay - call in and buy some Irish language gifts!).
