It's what your nana AND your granny told ya. If Ireland was a bottle, it would sink without a Cork. And it would sink quickly and all the Dubs and the Kerrymen would be floating around the place and there'd be nobody to save the country from ruin.
Lucky for them, says you, the Cork is very firmly in the Irish bottle. Until we gain independence of course!
