The Eurovision is culturally irrelevant and has been for many many years. Why does it get so much attention on here?

Nah, not even close..Just because you don't like something doesn't make it shit. The Eurovision is culturally irrelevant and has been for many many years. Why does it get so much attention on here?
Best of luck to her tonight. The contestant identifies as they. Not he or she
Ok defer to your superior knowledge on it. Culturally insignificant in Ireland then?Nah, not even close..Just because you don't like something doesn't make it shit.
Because you're Irish you see it through a lens of Charlie McGettigan, Dana and J-Lo but it gets 180 million viewers annually for a singing and dancing show. About a 3rd of a Champion's League Final.
It sells out for the host city. its become huge party weekend for mostly homosexual rich westeners with oodles of cash.
The songs get bags of youtube engagements on the week up to it. Winners are hitting 250million streams.
All this is reflected in the sound, lights and vision you get on stage..its never one man and his guitar any more but choreography and outfit changes and T&A. That are hard to imagine anyere else.
Music in general has lost its primacy in youth culture but weirdly Eurovison has held on. just not in the demographic you reside in.
i haven't watched in years and won't this year but the thing is a juggernaut
