Irish Rail

Apparently the Cork to Dublin line is upgraded compared to other lines. So we are paying a premium to travel faster.

I recall having read that time to travel from Cork to Dublin by train hasn't dramatically decreased over the last 100 years. Slightly faster trains perhaps, but H+S regulations and more stops.

The Cork to Dublin line is actually horrific.

Half of it is like being on a roller coaster.

The germans need to be brought in to fix the lines.

And everything else.

I remember being in Holland over twenty years ago and marveling at the double decked trains, the trams, the bikes.

Never had the pleasure of the train to dublin.... Here do they sell drink onboard?

They do Bai. Is party Al back on the drink?

On the way to Kent station as we speak. Here, pepe, is it also true that this was the place to go of a good friday for a saucy gatt?

And moreover how come the po-leece never did a raid or maybe they did? Is there any old alcaholics on the board apart from myself who can shed some light on this?

How much is a whiskey and coke onboard peps? Got ot be almost a cockle hey?
