Jesus lads, 'tis looking like BREXIT!

Just found out I can't log into the DVLA website for sorting stuff with my driving license. Apparently I can't use my passport for logging on, which is needed for their new identity system because I haven't used it to apply for an EU right to remain thingy.

Looking forward to some fresh admin bullshit.

If Richboy Sunak gets his way, soon they wouldn't even be able to pull a 'sickie' in Britain, he wants to reduce Disability Benefits, stop GPs signing off sick notes, and prevent people out of work sick for 12 months from claiming any benefits.

"“If you are feeling anxious or depressed, then of course you should get the support and treatment you need to manage your condition. But that doesn’t mean we should assume you can’t engage in work. It’s not fair on everyone else"

House of Lords eventually folded, Rwanda is now declared by law as a safe country (unless the king refuses to sign which would be all sorts of shit show...)
At least Rishi Sunaks nasty bill has passed and it is a huge deterrant to migrants crossing the channel today...................oh wait......

This was always going to happen, the press going down to the coast and getting pictures of more migrant boats arriving.

If you have risked your life crossing the channel on a small dinghy, you're not going to be put off by an aeroplane to Rwanda for only 1% of migrants.

He is just shockingly bad at politics.

Exactly. And that's the ones who know about it. How many people here know about Dutch asylum policy?

If an asylum seeker is making their ways thousands of miles trying to stay out of the way of the authorities, in a hard struggle to get to Britain, they're unlikely to be current with what laws have, and haven't, passed in parliament.

Sounds like there has been a horrible tragedy on that boat:

"Several people are feared to have died in an attempt to cross the Channel near the town of Wimereux, south of Calais, according to reports.

The French coastguard confirmed to reporters that there was a failed attempt to cross the Channel and said police were operating at a beach following the incident on Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson told Reuters she could not say how many people were involved but added there were several “lifeless bodies”.

According to the newspaper La Voix du Nord, at least five people had died and helicopters and rescue boats were mobilised for ongoing searches."

That is sad and probably a daily occurrance.

The U.K. just cannot be bothered in having a safe legal route for asylum seekers and it has simply reverted to performatative cruelty in the modern age.
