The Official Man Utd Thread - Part 3.

The yellow wall is a thing of beauty.

Saw a tweet during the week comparing the ticket prices for the Borussia game v ticket prices for Real / Bayern game in the bernabeu.

Tickets from €19 - €85 in Germany and €125-€450 in Madrid.

Germany is the richest country in Europe but the football people there have done brilliantly in making the game accessible and the atmosphere is brilliant as a result.

Buddy was at West Ham v Liverpool on saturday. Sent on a few videos of it and you could hear people sneezing/coughing.

The away fans were making plenty of noise and a pocket of hardcore hammers same but 75% of the stadium was eerily quiet.

With all the new and upgraded stadia built in england over last 20 years it’s amazing they haven’t tried to replicate the yellow wall.

Get 25-30k lunatics into the one stand with cheap tickets and let the other 3 stands subsidise it.

Have been to a few Bundesliga games and the atmosphere was always great. Must try to get to a game in Dortmund at some point.

The Ashburton Army (arsenal ultras) struggle to get 100 guaranteed tickets at full price and rarely, if ever, get permission to organise a self funded tifo.

I'd say the Kroenkes hate them on principle and see them as the threat of the peasants getting organised.

Also, Germany has majority fan owned clubs (excluding the Red Bull farce)

At the risk of being Grumpy O Grump face, I hated the German atmospheres at both games. Drum blasting for 90 minutes and the same song (or so it seemed) for the whole 90 minutes.

Too forced imho. Give me a good English atmosphere any day.

They’re too rare m8. That’s the problem.

Unless you mean 10 lagers a punch up and some tragedy chanting.

Pwoppa roast beef kraut beating bulldog spirit.

That prick of a commentator Fletcher then saying he's delighted to see him playing well after how he was treated. How he was treated? He was given a break for his mental health when struggling big time before coming back in and stinking the place up when given chance after chance. ETH made one comment about team being picked on training performance and he couldn't handle it like a man.
That annoyed the shit out it me tbh.

Spoilt, little privileged brat given time off for mental health and then downs tools. He was not treated badly by United.

Lost possession rate

20/21 = 719
21/22 = 651
22/23 = 637
23/24 = 657

£250k pw.

You're having a laugh.

Listen m8, your low grade Cork scouser trolling is fooling no one.

Last season.

Hes near the top of the charts every season hes played in England.

Bruno has been by far Uniteds best player since he joined the club. He will be a huge loss if he goes.
