We have La Ronda Litoral here in Barna, which is pretty much the same deal.Indeed it does.
Cork is very lucky it didn't get monstrosities like that imposed on the city centre.
No cycle lanes there either for good reason.

The alternative is to have all that traffic on the city streets with the cyclists.Beautiful. One more lane will solve traffic.
It's not though, it'd be the inverse of induced demand. The alternative is to have all that traffic on the city streets with the cyclists.
I was commenting on the legality of it, not that one should do it or that it's safe. That there is the reason a lot here think you are Chicken man.
It's the sense of entitlement over common sense and safety of one's self.
.Mate, you gotta stop with the creepy doxing shit - it's weird and creepy. (For those unaware, Jank is so rattled by me posting facts he took the time to do creepy online searches for personal info about me from other sites, and now posts this regularly here). What a fucking creep! If I was female I'd probably be going to the Gardai re the stalkery weirdo but I know he's just a creepy weirdo.
And weirdo, believe me I'm the first to complain about shitty driving - I've even reported it to the Gardai a couple of times. Now hop back up on your little push bike with stabilizers, and off home to mammy with you!

Why do you even bother.Yes. I'm sure there would be far less traffic in the centre of Barcelona, if you took away the six lane dual carriageway bypassing the centre, that links to the harbour and the airport.
Shur it's only a few thousand container trucks and tourist buses a day anyway.
Theres plenty of pedestrianised streets they can take back.
Does it cut through a town centre?Yes. I'm sure there would be far less traffic in the centre of Barcelona, if you took away the six lane dual carriageway bypassing the centre, that links to the harbour and the airport.

If not, we're talking about 2 very different things.
If so, I would suggest it shouldn't.
