could’ve bought almost four mason mount hospices for a similar fee.
Klopp supposedly persuaded him to stay.
Ye could have got 2 Darwin Nunezzzz for that coin.
Just think
50+ big chances missed.

Be careful what you wish for with Salah. We won’t see the likes of him again. Just look at Diaz’s inferior numbers to Mane as an example of how pretty much everyone is a step down from the Mane, Firmino and Salah trio. Salah’s numbers are sensational and we are very unlikely to see a winger produce those numbers again.
He was doing very well until he got injured and has struggled for form since. He’s still the most likely man to score a goal. He still is in great shape, still frightens defenders but has raw moments, as he always has had. The day he leaves is the day we get worse. Could be this summer and of course he’s not getting younger but Salah owes us nothing.
Re-Salah from a purely business and non-sentimental POV selling would make sense.
He gets the bones of €20m per year in wages and can leave on a free summer ‘25.
If they turn down €60m for him then they’re valuing 1 season for a 33 yr old at €80m.
Even if he was to match his output again next season that’s an awful lot for 1 years service.
He’s been incredible but he’s a saleable asset and will need replacing within 18 months anyway. Might as well get a few bob in for him and put it towards a rebuild
Salah is done, I said it a week or so ago. His tracking back, his pace and even the type of goals he's scoring, he's a shadow of himself and Edwards will no doubt sell him on in the summer. VVD might go too, but I'd be tempted to keep onto to him for his experience.
My money is on Gonçalo Inácio coming in this summer, especially if Amorim gets the gig.
