I like her and they don't have the grey haired elderly vibe of Labour nor a bang of semtex off them.

Those tweets show a darker side (although I've zero time for the sex abuse ridden church) but she's not trying to appeal to over 50s male vote really.

The posh Anglo Irish accent is a hard sell to ordinary working peeeple though. Every time she says 'homes' she reminds me of Ross O'Carroll Kelly.

Shes still a Corkonian though so I'd take her over Mary Lou or Bacik anyday

Guessing that one or both parents are of British hippy stock. Loads moved to West Cork in the 70s,80s and 90s. I've met second generation people from that background born and raised in Ireland who speak with pretty much English accents.
